2 Days 1 Night Tsavo East West Road Safari
Whilst on your Mombasa Kenya beach holiday, this 1 night safari to Tsavo
East and West National Park is all you will need to experience wildlife
game viewing in this world re-known National Park. "Short and very sweet"
is how some clients describe this safari! Suitable as a family safari
or for a couple on a honeymoon safari in Kenya.
Day 1: Pick up from your hotel or cottage will be at 0530 hrs and head for the Mombasa - Nairobi highway. This leg of the 2 days Tsavo East & West road safari is approximately 120km and will take us to the Bachuma gate where we stop for refreshments.
You will start game viewing immediately upon entry, concentrating on the Aruba dam area where higher number of game are bound to be spotted. Later, you will enjoy an excellent buffet lunch.
After lunch, you will take the road to Tsavo West, watching
out for wild animals as you head for your lodge or camp. After freshening
up, you will visit the Rhino Sanctuary and more game viewing returning
to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay to end your 1st day
of your 2 days safari to Tsavo East and West.
Day 2: The second day of
your 2 days 1 night Tsavo safari. You will take an early morning game
drive to watch animals either getting back to their hide-outs after a
night of hunting or just starting their day! This will take about 2 hours
then return to your lodge or camp for breakfast.
After breakfast, you will head to the Mzima springs.
You will disembark and explore this beautiful spot and view hippos, crocodiles,
exotic fish and a variety of bird species. Due to the abundant water supply,
this area is lush with green vegetation in complete contrast to it's neighbouring
areas. You return to your lodge or camp for a buffet lunch before commencing
your return journey to the Kenya coast where you will be dropped in your
respective hotel, self-catering cottage or apartment.
